NovaLipids is a privately held company based in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada. Dr. Kevin Keough and the Genesis Group Incorporated, the technology transfer arm of Memorial University of Newfoundland, founded the company in 1998. Dr. Keough and his laboratory team have been developing liposomal encapsulation technology since 1988. For the past four years, extensive research and development activities have focused on applying the technology to new and existing animal health products.
The Company’s research, development and production facilities are located within the Department of Biochemistry at Memorial University of Newfoundland. As the Company’s operations expand, an independent facility will be secured within the St. John’s area.
